Trinity tops Hauser

SEYMOUR — Trinity Lutheran won four matches in straight sets and another by default Thursday in handing Hauser a 5-0 boys tennis defeat.

Daniel Naewedde beat James Oliver 7-5, 6-4 at No. 1 singles, and Adam Alberring topped Graydon Kilps 6-4, 7-5 at No. 2 singles for the Cougars. Zack Lister won at No. 2 doubles after the Jets’ Joel Bechtel had to retire after winning the first set 7-6.

Trinity’s Jonathan Naewedde and Reed Roeder defeated Kam Blair and RJ Foster 6-4, 6-0 at No. 1 doubles. Ross Bevers and Luke Schepman beat Brady Miller and Jacob Bell 6-4, 6-2 at No. 2 doubles.

Both teams now are 10-5.
