the former governors of Indiana, especially Gov. Eric Holcomb and Gov. Mitch Daniels, for caring for and supporting all the citizens of Indiana, and not just those that they align with politically.

Morton Marcus revealing per capita state and (especially) local taxes are so much higher than the rest of the country, undoubtedly causing increased division in various local forums.

John Krull for a thoughtful tribute to Robert Redford.

the great article by Whitney Downard explaining the complex situation of health care expenditures.

the Democratic Party statement against the unlawful move to redistricting just to second the president’s dictatorial aspirations.

Frank Reed for an excellent job on the gravel driveway, from GM.

ABC, Nexstar and Sinclair Media Group for taking pure hate off the airwaves.

the ‘50s, ‘60s and ‘70s I grew up in.

Tiffany and Emily at Centra Credit Union on National Road for helping me refinance my loan, God bless you, from Sharon Phillips.

Kelly and all Centra Credit Union staff for being so kind and helpful.

Onions to

the drama queen agency head who couldn’t answer a yes or no question, but responded with shrill, unrelated remarks.

the AG for keeping a list of people posting items he finds offensive, which goes against the First Amendment right to free speech and is reminiscent of McCarthy-era witch hunts.

legislators and offices berating and firing people for exercising their First Amendment right to free speech.

those who clearly don’t understand that free speech means people are free to speak their mind, even if what is said is offensive to others.

the legislator for once again proving he may be the worst legislator in the entire state.

the approved millions for the jail to house migrants, the money would be better spent for health care or school improvements.

the clownish, undignified performance of the FBI director during the House hearings.

the sex and violence on TV.

destroying our South, which is a part of our history.

the terrible world I’m in today.

losing our freedom of speech a long time ago.
