Fish Fry Fundraiser — 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Moose Lodge, 330 Eighth St., Columbus. This drive-thru fundraiser supporting Just Friends Adult Day Services will offer “Big Al’s” famous fish sandwiches, two sides and a drink. Free will donations are welcome.
Kids Need Kiwanis Fish Fry Fundraiser — 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., American Legion Post #24, 2515 25th St., Columbus. Includes fish filets or a fish sandwich, baked beans and coleslaw. A free will donation of $10 is suggested. Proceeds will support the Kiwanis Bring Up Grades program and provide free books to local kids through Kiwanis Literacy Projects.
Atterbury Job Corps Open House — 1 to 3 p.m., Atterbury Job Corps Center, 3129 E. Edinburgh St., Edinburgh. Community members are invited to come to the Job Corps Center for an open house, which includes a tour of the facility, presentations and light snacks. Weld Together: Welding Basics — 5 to 6:30 p.m., Columbus Propeller, 4760 Ray Boll Blvd., Columbus. Led by instructor Jaii, this beginner-friendly workshop is open to everyone 12-and-up, with a special focus on empowering women and young girls to explore welding. Learn how to safely use MIG welders, from setup to technique, all in a fun environment. Participants should wear closed-toe shoes. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Cost is $50. Art with Heart — 5:30 to 7 p.m., Bespoke Events + Experiences, 412 Washington St., Columbus. Annual POW-MIA Ceremony — 6:30 p.m., Bartholomew County Courthouse, 234 Washington St., Columbus. This annual ceremony is to honor the families and remember the service men and women from the area who were declared POW and/or MIA. It also represents the ongoing American commitment to finding and bringing home all missing service members and their remains.
