Columbus Farmers Market — 9 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., Columbus City Hall, 123 Washington St., Columbus. Enjoy several vendor and brunch options, as well as live music from Ruben Guthrie.
Good Samaritan Food Pantry Car Show — 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Good Samaritan Food Pantry, 2250 N. State Highway 7, North Vernon. This fundraising event for the pantry will feature containers at each exhibited car for monetary donations, with the exhibitor with the most donations winning a trophy. Cost is $20 to exhibit a vehicle. Admission is free for spectators.
Saturday Storytime: Exhibit Columbus — 11 to 11:30 a.m., Bartholomew County Public Library Plaza, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Enjoy the Exhibit Columbus installation “Inside Out” while you read stories, sing songs and share rhymes.
Hooks and Needles — 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. The Hooks and Needles program is for all types of needle crafters to gather, create and socialize.
29th Annual Hot Rods & Rock ‘n’ Roll — 3 to 9 p.m., downtown Columbus. A car show will take place from 3 to 7 p.m., followed by a free concert from 7 to 9 p.m. featuring Rick K and the Allnighters, a band that plays classic hits from the 1970s and 80s. There is no fee to enter a classic vehicle or to attend the show. Vehicle registration will take place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the parking lot across from the Bartholomew County Jail.
Uncommon Cause 2025: Masquerade — 7 to 11 p.m., Harrison Lake Country Club, 588 Country Club Road, Columbus. This year’s theme, Masquerade, invites guests to step into an evening of mystery, elegance, and imagination. Attendees are encouraged to embrace the theme with creative attire and masks. Will include live music from The Toons, live and silent auctions, Best Masked Awards, small plates and a cash bar. For ages 21-and-over only. Cost is $135.23. Ready, Set, G.L.O.W. Light Up the Night 5K — 8 p.m., Hauser High School, 9273 N. State Road 9, Hope. Hope FFA and G.L.O.W. like Sarah are teaming up to host a 5K that will be a competitive event as well as fun. Runners should be prepared to complete a 5K on an open road course, running through color stations where they will be splattered with glow in the dark paint. All proceeds benefit the Tyler Trent Foundation. Cost is $35. Registration and packet pick-up will be from 5 to 8 p.m., at Door 20. Movies in the Park — 8 to 10 p.m., Mill Race Park, 50 Carl Miske Drive, Columbus. Watch “Lilo and Stitch” (2025) in the park at nightfall. Blankets and snacks are welcome. Free.
