CONNERSVILLE — Hauser and Connersville decided to play a seven-match contest Wednesday, and the Spartans won all seven to claim a 7-0 boys tennis victory.
James Oliver fell to Anthony Struewing 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 singles, Graydon Kilps lost to Jay McMullen 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 singles, Curtis Kilps fell to Abel Parsley 6-0, 6-1 at No. 3 singles and Dane Richards lost to Brandt Lykins 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4 singles for the Jets (10-6).
Hauser’s Kam Blair and RJ Foster fell to Maddox Rees and Parker Thumb 6-3, 6-3 at No. 1 doubles. Jacob Bell and Brady Miller lost to Logan Young and Evan Miller 6-1, 6-2 at No. 2 doubles, and Jackson Bell and Ben Wiwi fell to Cordell Escobal and Eli Pearson 6-2, 6-3 at No. 3 doubles.
