Elsbury’s Greenhouse on State Road 9 near Hope was featured on Indianapolis’ WISH-TV during a gardening segment of the news show. Channel 8 reporter Shannon Cagyle visited the business and interviewed owner Gordon Elsbury.
1975
Indiana University Coach Bobby Knight gave the 1975 Bartholomew County United Way fund drive an early sendoff during a meeting at the Holiday Inn. Knight was joined by Harold Andreas, IU’s new assistant basketball coach who replaced Dave Bliss.
