Gallery 506 Opening Reception: Poetics of Space — 5 to 7 p.m., Gallery 506, Columbus Visitors Center, 506 Fifth St., Columbus. Inspired by Columbus’ world-renowned modernist architecture, Lloyd Brooks’ paintings explore the intimacy of designed spaces through form, color and geometry. During the reception, guests can meet the artist, enjoy refreshments and experience Brooks’ work alongside original poems by Indiana author S. L. Berry.
