Quilters to host the 20th biennial quilt show, A Gathering of Quilts, on Oct. 17 and 18

The Columbus Indiana Star Quilters and Evening Star Quilters will host the 20th biennial quilt show, A Gathering of Quilts, on Oct. 17 and 18 at Foundation For Youth, 405 Hope Ave.

The show will feature over 150 quilts, traditional and modern, made by members of both guilds, along with other quilted items, including Challenge Quilts.

The show hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day; admission is $8 for those age 12 and up. Demonstrations will be available throughout both days, along with a Vendor Mall, Boutique, and Themed Basket Raffles.

Friday’s Workshop will be “Featherweight Maintenance” led by Marcy Clark. The all-day workshop is $55 (which includes admission to the show); eight spots are still open.

Saturday’s Workshop will be ‘Quilts from Photos” by Rona Herman AKA Rona the Ribbiter! This all-day workshop is $85 (which includes admission to the show); plus a material fee; nine spots are still available.
