Crimson Pride men win, women fall vs. Brescia

IU Columbus split a pair of River States Conference soccer games with Brescia Thursday, winning the men’s contest 1-0 and dropping the women’s game 2-1.

Columbus East graduate Alejandro Saldivar scored the goal for the men (4-5-1, 1-1) off an assist from Anton Bezborodov in the 68th minute. Jacob Kasarda recorded nine saves in goal.

Lily Campbell scored an unassisted goal for the Crimson Pride women (2-5-2, 0-2). Zoe Bippus posted 13 saves.

The IUC women and men will visit West Virginia Tech Saturday before returning home for a women’s-men’s doubleheader Thursday against IU East.
