GREENSBURG — The Hauser boys cross-country team finished fourth out of 11 full teams in the Greensburg Invitational.
Lawrence North won the boys meet with 20 points. Greensburg finished second with 86 points, while Roncalli was third with 98 and the Jets scored 129.
Jace Wright led Hauser with a ninth-place finish in 17 minutes, 18.2 seconds for 5,000 meters (3.1 miles). Max Moore took 17th in 18:01.27, while Mason Moore was 34th (18:56.26), Braydon McFarland 41st (19:18.54), Nolan Dailey 61st (20:05.78), Mason Johnson 67th (20:17.49), Grady Niccum 74th (20:31.09) and Maxwell Miller 135th (25:47.66).
Trinity Lutheran’s Oliver Eggersman finished 23rd in 18:18.29, Nathan Negrete took 37th in 19:07.00 and Sam Dyer was 79th in 21:09.27.
South Decatur’s Daniel Chastain finished 127th in 24:13.29, and Luke Poling took 132nd in 25:00.45.
In the girls race, Trinity’s Emma Mellencamp finished 27th in 26:02.67, and Elizabeth Downey was 29th in 26:31.67
South Decatur’s Sophia Powers and Summer Masters finished 35th and 36th in 27:04.99 and 27:16.90. Bri Benefiel took 42nd in 28:34.49, and Andrea Brogan was 48th in 29:10.06.
