NASHVILLE — Brown County had a close call in the second set Thursday, but cruised in the third to finish off a 25-17, 25-23, 25-10 volleyball win against Southwestern (Shelby).
Ella Bartels recorded six kills and five blocks, and Zoe Jackson notched 14 digs and five aces to lead the Eagles (10-11). Aubree Denton pounded six kills, and Abe Sanders had four assists.
Also for Brown County, Ella East tallied five kills and one block, Denton had three assists and five digs and Jackson added one assist. East had one block, Makayla Shrader posted eight digs and two aces and Leanne Hash served three aces.
