About 450 people came together in Mill Race Park to join the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, which raised an estimated $75,000 to support the Greater Indiana Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.

More than 100 people fought for peace with candles and hope on the steps of City Hall at the second annual Stop the Hate: An Interfaith Vigil Against Hate Violence. The vigil was sponsored by the Columbus Peace Fellowship and Address Columbus Cultural Education and Promoting Trust (ACCEPT).

Ten architects from China visited Columbus to observe local architecture and the Chaos I sculpture at The Commons. Richard B. Stoner, vice chairman of the board of Cummins Engine Co., hosted the men during their 24-hour visit.
