IOWA CITY, Iowa — Jenna Lang scored Michigan’s lone goal Saturday in a 1-1 Big Ten tie with Iowa.

The goal was the first of the season for Lang, a senior from Columbus North. The Wolverines now are 5-6-2 overall and 2-2-2 in the Big Ten.

DANVILLE, Ky. — Tyler Blythe carried 14 times for 75 yards and a touchdown Saturday to help lead Centre to a 37-36 Southern Athletic Association win against Millsaps.

Bless catches first pass of career

FROSTBURG, Md. — Luke Bless caught the first pass of his college football career Saturday, a 5-yard reception in Frostburg State’s 33-7 Mountain East Conference win against Concord.

Bless, a graduate student from Columbus North, played his first four years at University of Indianapolis. He and the Bobcats are 5-0 overall and 3-0 in the MEC.

Dibble leads DePauw in tackles

Gilley notches 24 digs in defeat

Chloe Gilley led Indiana State (8-8, 2-2) with 24 digs and added two assists in Saturday’s four-set Missouri Valley Conference loss at Evansville.

Bennett records block in loss

WINONA LAKE — Sarah Bennett tied for the team lead with one block Wednesday in Marian’s three-set Crossroads League loss at Grace.

SOUTH BEND — Julia Kiesler took 72nd Friday for Boise State, which finished third in Notre Dame’s Joe Piane Invitational.

In the men’s race, Purdue’s Neal White, a freshman from North, finished 126th in 25:06.3 for 8K (5 miles). He was the No. 8 runner for the Boilermakers, who were fourth as a team.

Glyn-Jones, Swegman, Krueger run in Louisville

LOUISVILLE — Carys Glyn-Jones took 109th Saturday to help Butler to a 13th-place team finish in the Women’s 5K Gold race at the Lou City Classic.

TERRE HAUTE — Cole Stevens placed 18th Friday to help Rose-Hulman to a runner-up team finish in the Nike XC Town Twilight Meet.
