Jets blank PCR for first-ever win in sectional game

MONROVIA — Hauser picked up its first sectional game win in girls soccer program history Wednesday with a 7-0 victory against Providence Cristo Rey in the opening round of the Class A Monrovia Sectional.

Addy Russell and Kennedy Konradi each netted two goals for the Jets (4-11-1). Luna Haddouche, Keagan Earley and Liv Read all scored one goal.

Lylah Konradi recorded two assists. Kennedy Konradi, Katherine Price and Haddouche all had one assist.

Early notched two saves in goal, and Madison Mann added one save.

Hauser advances to Thursday’s semifinals, where it will meet host Monrovia, a 13-0 winner over Indianapolis Washington in Wednesday’s opener. Brown County and Triton Central will meet in the first semifinal at 5 p.m., followed by the Jets and Bulldogs at around 7 p.m.
