Developmental Services Inc. (DSI) celebrated its 40th anniversary at its headquarters on 10th Street with cake, a disc jockey, music and dancing. Bounce houses and games for all ages were also available.

Natalie Roll was named The Republic’s 2000 Woman of the Year and honored during a luncheon at Harrison Lake Country Club. Roll received a hand-crafted medallion and $2,000, which she donated to Love Chapel.

Mrs. Clyde Marsh, director of nursing service at Bartholomew County Hospital, was elected president of the Indiana Society of Hospital Nursing Service Administrators during its second annual meeting at the Ramada Inn in Nashville.
