American Red Cross Blood Drive — 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., St. Bartholomew Catholic School, 1306 27th St., Columbus. The American Red Cross will conduct a blood drive in the cafeteria at the school, sponsored by Our Faith in Action and the Knights of Columbus. All types of blood are needed and donors need to be at least 16 years old and weigh at least 110 pounds. All donors will receive a $15 Amazon gift card. Pre-registration is requested at redcross.org.
C-119 “Flying Boxcar” — 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Atterbury-Bakalar Air Museum, 4742 Ray Boll Blvd., Columbus. The Atterbury-Bakalar Air Museum at the Columbus Municipal Airport will have its C-119 “Flying Boxcar” open to the public for free tours. Donations to help with upkeep of the display will be accepted. The museum, which is also free to visit, will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Buddy Walk 2025 — 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Donner Park, 739 22nd St., Columbus. This free, family-friendly event will include a live DJ, food, a balloon artist, Touch-a-Truck, local vendors and activities for all ages. Proceeds from donations will benefit The Arc of Bartholomew County and the Columbus Down Syndrome Support Group. Ethnic Expo — 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Columbus City Hall, 123 Washington St., Columbus. Ethnic Expo is a weekend of events celebrating cultures that come together in Columbus to create a vibrant, welcoming community and is one of the largest and most beloved local festivals. Dungeons and Dragons — 3 to 5 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Join the library’s new campaign for adults. Bring a fifth edition, level three character, or use a premade one. This campaign is geared towards beginners, but veteran players are also welcome. Register on the library website.
Cancer Benefit Skate — 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., Skateland, 2660 N. Talley Road, Columbus. An adult roller skating event to benefit Cory Kirkpatrick, who is suffering from Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Tickets include pizza or a hotdog with a large drink. Cost is $15.
A Rodgers & Hammerstein Celebration — 7 p.m., St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, 1306 27th St., Columbus. As part of the church’s 2025-26 concert series, soprano Camilla Gehring, baritone David Anderson and pianist Bogdan Minut will present some Broadway favorites and rediscoveries by the Rodger & Hammerstein team for the 60th anniversary of “The Sound of Music.” Other songs will include favorites from “The King and I,” “Flower Drum Song,” “Oklahoma!,” “Carousel,” “Pipe Dream” and “South Pacific.” Mirabella and Bogdan Minut, aka the Minut Piano Duo, will perform “Waltz” from “Carousel.” Free admission.
Dixon’s Violin — 7 p.m., Crump Theater, 425 Third St., Columbus. Electric violinist Dixon will perform a live, one-man symphony. Tickets are $29 in advance and $35 at the door. Tickets for children 12-and-under are $5. Tickets and information: www.eventbrite.com.
