Pride

Pride is a sweet and a litter nervous to be here at the shelter, but he warms up to people quickly! Pride enjoys going for walks and being loved on by his humans. He is such a cuddle bug once he gets the wiggles out and gives the best puppy kisses. Pride knows how to sit and give paw, and will wait at the door when asked before going outside. We can’t guarantee he is house trained but he keeps a pretty clean kennel. Pride has met other dogs here at the shelter and he is always interested in making friends! He has also met some of the shelter cats and is very friendly with them. If they aren’t interested in playing with him, he loses interest quickly and leaves them alone. The one thing that seems to make Pride uncomfortable is small children. If you have small children, we will need to schedule a meet and greet with them prior to adoption. Johnny Storm was adopted out as a kitten but was recently returned. He is a little over a year old now and is the sweetest boy! Johnny Storm loves to play and does great with other cats. He definitely would thrive with having a friend or two in his new home. Johnny Storm does have a thing for chewing wires/electric cords. His family would need to take precautions to keep him from doing this. We are happy to go over different ways to help deter this behavior with anyone who is interested in bringing Johnny Storm home.

If you would like any of these pets to join your family, please complete the adoption form. https://www.columbus.in.gov/animal-care-services/adoptable-pets/adoption-information-and-application/ then schedule an appointment at 812-376-2505 or email us at animalcareservices@columbus.in.gov.
