30th Anniversary Celebration of the Columbus Area Visitors Center — 5 to 7 p.m., Columbus Area Visitors Center, 506 Fifth St., Columbus. The Columbus Area Visitors Center invites the community to celebrate its 30th anniversary with a reception, followed by a program and plaque unveiling, and a closing reception. The program will be held in the same spot where Xenia Miller dedicated the Visitors Center building three decades ago. Guests will enjoy light refreshments and have the opportunity to view historic video footage from the original 1995 dedication ceremony. Free admission.

Rural Community Fellowship — 7 p.m., Second United Methodist Church, 407 Stockwell St., North Vernon. Service starts at 7 p.m. and Pastor Keith Smith from Coffee Creek Baptist will bring the message. The offering for this service will go to the Spark of Kindness Toy Giveaway. This will be the last regular service for this year.
