South Decatur stops Crimson Knights

GREENSBURG — Jayden Jackson-Ray scored four touchdowns Friday to lead Brown County to a 41-6 win against the Indianapolis HomeSchool Crimson Knights.

Jackson-Ray carried 10 times for 112 yards and three touchdowns and returned a punt for a score. Keaton Troutman went 7 of 9 passing for 102 yards and two touchdowns.

Ryker Martin had two catches for 75 yards and a score, and Josh Winkler caught the other touchdown pass for the Cougars (3-5). Garrett Huckelberry had an interception on defense.

“We needed this one,” South Decatur coach Rodney Martin said.

The Cougars will visit Eastern Greene in the first round of the sectional Oct. 24.
