Victoria “Vicki” Lynn Gholson, 66, of Scipio, Indiana, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2025, at St. Vincent Hospital in Caramel, Indiana.
Born May 5, 1959, in Aurora, Illinois, Vicki was the daughter of the late Rodney and Beverly (Walters) VanKirk. Vicki was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend whose kindness, humor, and unwavering love left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
Vicki retired from Valeo in Seymour, Indiana in 2022. She had a joyful spirit and a love for life’s simple pleasures. Vicki was a member of the Coffee Creek Conservation Club for Bingo. She enjoyed spending her time playing bingo, caring for her dog Molly, being outdoors, and sharing laughter with family and friends. Her greatest joy cam from being surrounded by those she loved- especially her children and grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
Survivors include her sons, James “Chris” Gholson of Elizabethtown, and Joshua (Rachel) Gholson of Tennessee; and her cherished grandchildren Jaidalyn, Lucas. Sophia, and Jaxon.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Terry and David VanKirk.
Vicki’s love, laughter, and gentle heart will forever live on in the memories of all who knew her.
Private services for Vicki Gholson will be held at a later date, with burial at Vernon Cemetery.
