CANTON, Mo. — IU Columbus opened its women’s basketball season Saturday with a 74-59 loss at Culver-Stockton.
Abby Fleetwood led the Crimson Pride with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Columbus North graduate Hadassah Hurt scored 15 points, Amaya Collins had 14 points and Isyss Donelson added six points, four assists and five steals.
IUC plays Mount Mercy Sunday at Culver-Stockton. The first home game is Nov. 4 against St. Xavier (Illinois).
The Crimson Pride men open the season at noon Tuesday at home against East-West.
