CANTON, Mo. — The IU Columbus women’s basketball team wrapped up their stay in Missouri with a 97-60 loss to Mount Mercy Sunday at Culver-Stockton.
Abby Fleetwood recorded 20 points and 10 rebounds, and Morgan Montgomery had 15 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, three steals and three blocks to lead the Crimson Pride (0-2). Isyss Donelson scored 14 points, and Columbus North graduate Hadassah Hurt added seven points.
The IUC women will visit Kuyper Friday before playing their home opener Nov. 4 against Saint Xavier. The IUC men will open their season at noon Tuesday at home against East-West.
