SCOTTSBURG — Jennings County opened its girls basketball season Tuesday with a 69-27 rout of Scottsburg.
The Panthers jumped out to a 26-6 lead after one quarter and led 47-14 at halftime.
Mollie Ernstes led Jennings with 25 points. Addison Petro and Etta Young each scored 11, Aniston Kent had eight and Hailey Dunham added six.
