Preschool Art Studio — 11:15 a.m. to noon, Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Children ages 1 to 5 and their caregiver can drop in to make art. A wide selection of art supplies will be available, and children are encouraged to dress for a mess.

2026 Economic Outlook Panel — 11:30 a.m., The Commons, 300 Washington St., Columbus. The Division of Business at IU Columbus will host its annual Economic Outlook Panel in partnership with the Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce, the IU Kelley School of Business, and Centra Credit Union. The panel will be moderated by Kevin Jones, associate professor of management in the Division of Business at IU Columbus. Cost is $45, which includes lunch. Skill Builders — 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. and 2:30 to 3:15 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. This monthly craft and activity program is designed for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their caregivers.

Community, Power, and the Search for Indigenous Identity — 2 to 3 p.m., online only. Join journalist and author Joseph Lee as he chats online about his stirring memoir, “Nothing More of This Land: Community, Power, and the Search for Indigenous Identity.” Register on the Bartholomew County Public Library website.

Hope Family Craft Night — 3 to 4:30 p.m., Students’ Fund of Hope Community Engagement Hub, 321 Washington St., Hope. Join this fun and creative program for all ages, offering a new arts and crafts activity every month.
