GARY — IU Columbus men’s basketball fell in overtime for the second consecutive game Friday, taking an 89-81 loss to Holy Cross (Indiana) at IU Northwest’s RedHawk Classic.
Damontae Thompson led the Crimson Pride (2-3) with 19 points and three steals. Trevin Lieck scored 18 points; Jermayn Baxter had 14 points, seven rebounds and seven assists; Kyan Reichhoff added 12 points and Jasaum Sowell finished with nine points.
IUC will play at IU Northwest Saturday and at IU Indianapolis Tuesday before returning home to host Goshen at 5 p.m. Thursday.
