African Children’s Choir Concert — 10 a.m., First United Methodist Church, 618 Eighth St., Columbus. Comprised of children ages 8 to 10 from vulnerable backgrounds across Africa, the choir will present a concert that blends traditional hymns and African cultural sounds. Free admission. College Goal Sunday — 2 p.m., IU Columbus, 4601 Central Ave., Columbus. This free program assists Indiana students with filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Filing must occur by the State of Indiana priority deadline of April 15 to guarantee state aid for those that qualify. Students should attend College Goal Sunday with their parent(s) or guardian(s), and parent(s) should bring completed 2024 IRS 1040 tax returns, W-2 Forms and other 2024 income and benefits information. “The King’s Letters: An Ode to Joy” — 2:30 p.m., The Pixy Theatre, 111 S. Walnut St., Edinburgh. Fairy Tale Theatre will present its 22nd original production, described as a melodrama, a fairy tale and a parable all in one. Free admission.
