Four Seasons, Athens Crossing to have veterans day program

Four Seasons Retirement Community and Athens Crossing, both part of the BHI Senior Living family, will have their annual Veterans Day program in the community chapel, featuring a color guard presentation, heartfelt tributes, and special recognition for each veteran by name and branch of service.

The event is at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Chapel at Four Seasons and is open to the public.

The ceremony will include support from the Young Marines, who will assist with certificates, refreshments, and the Pledge of Allegiance, and the Daughters of the American Revolution, who will present small tokens of appreciation to each veteran.

“This event is one of the most meaningful traditions we have at Four Seasons and Athens Crossing,” said Rebecca Stenner, executive director. “It’s a moment for our entire community to pause, reflect, and thank those whose sacrifices made our freedoms possible. Our residents’ stories of service are deeply woven into the fabric of who we are.”

“Honoring our veterans is one of the most heartfelt expressions of our mission,” said Megan Ulrich, Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations for BHI Senior Living. “Their stories inspire the compassion and excellence that guide every member of our team. Through celebrations like this, we’re reminded that service, faith, and gratitude are at the center of what makes our communities so special.”
