Legal Advertisement ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS AND INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS TOWN OF EDINBURGH ELECTRIC DEPARTMENT Edinburgh, Indiana 46124 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Town of Edinburgh (Owner) will receive sealed bids for the necessary labor, supervision, material, equipment, and delivery for one (1) 69kV circuit breaker (Circuit Breaker,) plus optional one (1) spare Circuit Breaker, plus optional two (2) spare bushings (Bushings) to be installed at its project known as “Edinburgh Industrial Park Substation” (Project) at 250 West 900 North, Edinburgh, Indiana 46124. Sealed bids will be received at the office of Clerk-Treasurer, Town of Edinburgh Administrative Office, 107 South Holland Street, Edinburgh, Indiana 46124 until 10:00 a.m. Eastern on Friday, December 05, 2025. The documents will then be opened and read aloud and thereafter taken under advisement pending review of each document. Copies of the Instructions to Bidders, Plans and Specifications and Contract Documents for the work may be obtained, at a non-refundable cost of Fifty Dollars ($50.00), from the Engineer located at: Alpha Engineering, Inc. 7760 West New York Street Indianapolis, Indiana 46214 Project consists of constructing a new 69kV delta -12.5kV wye distribution substation. All circuit breaker equipment shall be furnished by Bidder. All circuit breaker equipment is requested to be delivered by December 30, 2026. Owner reserves the right to amend the specifications and modify the delivery schedule as necessary. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, November 05, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. via Microsoft® Teams™. Bids shall conform to the requirements stated in the Instructions to Bidders. Bids shall include a completed Indiana State Form 96 accompanied by a certified check or bid bond of not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum total amount of the base bid. Successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a contractor’s bond for 100% of the proposal price and furnish a Certificate of Insurance.
