With injuries and illness leading to a wave of forfeits Thursday, only four matches were contested in Columbus East’s 42-30 girls wrestling win against Madison.
Brelin Rodriguez won by pin at 115 pounds for the Olympians. Abby Morales (100), Dulce Santiago (125), Gloria Cloud (130), Luci Morales (135), Annie Redman (170) Kaydence Spradlin (235) all won by forfeit.
East’s Redman at 170 and Maddie Shrader at 190 are ranked No. 4 in the state. Cloud is ranked No. 10 at 125.
