GEORGETOWN, Ky. — Georgetown (Kentucky) jumped out to a 32-8 lead after one quarter Thursday and went on to hand IU Columbus a 98-56 women’s basketball defeat.
Amaya Collins led the Crimson Pride (0-6) with 21 points, two assists and two steals. Abby Fleetwood scored 13 points, and Morgan Montgomery grabbed eight rebounds. Columbus North graduates Hadassah Hurt and Emma Beaver each had four points and five rebounds.
IUC will visit Grace Tuesday and Governors State Dec. 9 before returning home to play Alice Lloyd Dec. 15.
