The Commons and Columbus City Hall’s Christmas trees were selected and harvested by the Department of Public Works. Shelley and Jerry Coomer donated The Commons’ tree and City Hall’s tree was donated by Lea Ann Mitchell.

Columbus native Susan Brackney’s self-published self-help book, “The Lost Soul Companion: Comfort and Constructive Advice for Struggling Actors, Musicians, Artists, Writers and Other Free Spirits,” was accepted as part of a six-figure deal with Bantam Dell Publishing Group, a division of Random House Inc.
