COLUMBUS
Rebecca Lee (Baxter) Clayburn, 69, Columbus, passed away December 6, 2025. Mrs. Clayburn was born on November 20, 1956, in Fort Knox, Kentucky, the only daughter of the late Morris and Edell (Waltz) Baxter.
Growing up in Hope, Becky graduated from Hauser High School. She was employed as a factory worker at Instant Products and Cosco Products. Most recently, she worked as a secretary at Welding &Therapy Service before retiring. She enjoyed horseback riding, camping, flower gardening, visiting amusement parks, and never turned down an opportunity to eat out. Above all, Becky was deeply devoted to her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered for her good sense of humor and big heart.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Travis Snyder, and a brother, Wade Baxter.
Survivors include one son, Scott Snyder; one daughter, Laura Clayburn; one brother, Roy Baxter; grandchildren, Isabela Rodarte, Pete Rodarte, Maci Snyder, Arin Snyder, Alexandria Snyder, and Nathan Day; and three great-grandchildren.
