Preschool STEAM: Gingerbread Architecture — 11:15 a.m. to noon, Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Children ages 3 to 5 and their caregivers will use graham crackers and frosting to design, build and decorate a structure.

Teen Film Series: Jane Austen — 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Celebrate Jane Austen’s 250th birthday with this month’s series of adaptations of her novels. Watch “Sense and Sensibility” (1995) in the Teen Room. Register on the library website.

Adult Storytime — 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., Hope Branch Library, 635 Harrison St., Hope. Come join Shelly while she reads a short story, essay or some poetry. This program is for adults only due to some of the content.
