Crimson Pride drop exhibition game to IU Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS — The IU Columbus women’s basketball team played at IU Indianapolis Wednesday in a contest that counted as an exhibition for the Crimson Pride and a regular game for the Jaguars.

IU Indianapolis jumped out to a 25-5 lead after one quarter and went on to post a 79-40 victory.

Columbus North graduate Hadassah Hurt led IUC with nine points and three assists. Jaylee Hubble scored eight points; Abby Fleetwood had six points, six rebounds an seven steals and Cora Baker added six points.

The Crimson Pride visit Oakland City Saturday and host IU South Bend at 2 p.m. Sunday.
