Around 180 people experienced the premiere of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” at YES Cinema in downtown Columbus. The 136-minute film was the first installment of the movie franchise in 10 years.

Columbus Youth for Christ/Campus Life sponsored a semiformal Christmas Break Dance at the Senior Center, which included a DJ, dinner and drinks.

Jack Walter, Frank Runge and Herbert Boeschen were elected to the board of directors for the Southern Indiana Health Systems. All from Bartholomew County, the men were endorsed by the Southern Indiana Consortium of Health Care Providers Association.
