JEFFERSONVILLE — The Columbus East girls finished second, and Jennings County took sixth in Saturday’s Jeffersonville Classic.
Tienica Dits (105 pounds), Gloria Cloud (125), Izzy Wakefield (155) and Annie Redman (170) all won their weight classes for the Olympians. Kaydence Spradlin (235) took second, and Luci Morales (130), Kyleigh Traylor (190) and Elle Bliton (235) all were fifth.
Violeta Gomes-Hilerio won the 130-pound title to lead the Panthers. Baylee Franks (100) and Gabrella Hernandez (190) each finished second, while Katherine Brunner (155) placed third, Brooklyn Wheatley (190) took fourth and Sofia Lazano (115) was fifth.
Meanwhile, the Jennings boys finished fifth in the boys portion of the tournament. Luke Kirchner won the 138-pound title, while Carter Mikels (113) and Gomie Gomez (215) each finished third.
