Legal Advertisement Clay Township Volunteer Fire Department This is to serve as public notice in accordance with IC 5-3-1-4. The Clay Township Volunteer Fire Department will bill for services provided during incident responses that occur on or after January 1, 2026. The price of services billed will be in accordance with IC 36-8-12-16 and the Indiana Fire Marshal’s schedule of fees. In accordance with IC 36-8-12-16, the state fire marshal published the following recommended schedule of fees for fire protection services. (1) For initial response per fire engine, truck, apparatus, hazmat unit or rescue unit dispatched on a fire or hazardous material incident five hundred dollars (500.00) per response vehicle except command/control vehicle which is two hundred dollars (200.00) per vehicle. (2) For each hour or fraction thereof as on-scene assistance four hundred dollars (400.00) per response unit and two hundred dollars (200.00) per command/control unit. (3) For expendable materials such as absorption materials, emulsifiers, or other agents used in clean up operations the actual replacement cost of those materials (4) For collection of debris, chemicals, or contaminated materials resulting from the incident, the actual cost of removal and disposal at an authorized location will be charged.
