NORTH VERNON — Class 3A No. 7 Jennings County pulled away in the second half Tuesday for a 55-37 win against Bedford North Lawrence in a battle for the top spot in the Hoosier Hills Conference girls basketball race.
Mollie Ernstes led the Panthers (13-4, 4-0) with 31 points. Etta Young added 10.
