Newborn Safety Class — 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., Bartholomew County Health Department, 2625 Foxpointe Drive, Columbus. The Bartholomew County Health Department (BCHD) invites all expecting parents, new parents, and caregivers to a comprehensive Newborn Safety Class, designed to equip families with essential knowledge and practical skills in newborn care and safety. Columbus Star Quilters — 9:30 a.m., First Baptist Church, 3300 Fairlawn Drive, Columbus. Anne Delano will be presenting a trunk show and lecture on the History of Utilitarian Aprons. A short business meeting will precede the presentation.

Library Babies — 10 to 10:25 a.m., 10:35 to 11 a.m. amd 11:05 to 11:30 a.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. This relaxed program is a baby-friendly introduction to storytime. Register on the library website.

Play an assortment of board games and card games, and enjoy games on the new gaming PCs and arcade machine. Register on the library website.

Epilogue: Open Mic Poetry & Prose — 5 to 7 p.m., Gramz Bakery and Café, 909 Washington St., Columbus. Join Bartholomew County Public Library staff for a special celebration of Open Mic Poetry & Prose. The event will bring together past featured poets, longtime participants, and new voices for an evening honoring the creativity and community that has grown from this gathering.

Trivia Night at Hog Molly — 6:30 p.m., Hog Molly Brewing Co., 1405 Hutchins Ave., Columbus. Join Hog Molly staff for General Knowledge Trivia. Open to all ages and skill sets. Free to play with prizes for the winning team.
