The next meeting of the Historic Downtown Neighborhood Alliance will be 6 to 7 p.m. Feb. 4 in the Laws Room at First Presbyterian Church. The meeting will feature Sarah Sanders showing a presentation about the Sanders’ “River House” near Madison.
The “River House” is one of the oldest structures in Indiana and has a connection to Columbus and the Cummins Engine Company. The meeting will also include a presentation by Michael Cartwright, who has done extensive research on the Cartwrights’ home in Columbus and Hartsville College, on how to begin searching the history of old houses.
The meeting is open for anyone to attend. Those attending are asked to enter through door 2 on Seventh St.
