COLUMBUS, Indiana — Bartholomew County Emergency Management says a cold weather advisory will be in effect from 10 p.m. Tuesday to 11 a.m. Wednesday, as wind chills as low as 20 below zero are expected overnight. Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures.
An extreme cold warning expired this morning.
The cold weather advisory is in effect for portions of central, east central, north central, south central, southeast, southwest, and west central Indiana.
Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.
