A volunteer appreciation luncheon was held for a group of 20 iGrad volunteers at the Columbus Learning Center, where students shared their success stories and gratitude. The iGrad program was launched in 2012 as a way to keep struggling students on track to graduate.

Hauser High School junior Sara Michelle Miles was selected to be a member of the American Musical Ambassadors Band, which was composed of students from across the U.S. and set to tour several European countries.

Waldo Harrison was elected president of the Bartholomew County United Way Board of Directors and James K. Baker was named chairman of the 1976 campaign drive.
