The Academy for Lifelong Learning at the Pitman Institute began offering its first full series of classes, ranging from world affairs to aging well spiritually, aimed toward those ages 50 and over. The classes were taking place at Mill Race Center.

Columbus East High School’s gymnastics team beat Connersville 103.175 to 93.3 at the Orange Pit, with Nikki Howe winning four of the five events to take the all-around title.
