BROOKVILLE — Class 3A No. 8 Jennings County moved on to the girls basketball sectional final with a 47-33 win against Lawrenceburg in Friday’s semifinals at Franklin County.
The Panthers (17-6) jumped out to a 16-5 lead after one quarter and never looked back.
Mollie Ernstes scored 16 points, and Etta Young had 15 to lead Jennings. Riley Byford added nine.
The Panthers will play 3A No. 3 Greensburg in the final at 7 p.m. Saturday.
