COLUMBUS, Ind. —  Bartholomew County Emergency Management is warning motorists that snow showers this evening could bring a dusting to a half inch of snow to the area.

Some of these may briefly reduce visibility and lead to hazardous driving conditions.

Additionally, temperatures are expected to quickly fall into the teens overnight. This will cause any melted snow to quickly refreeze producing patchy black ice. Use caution and allow for extra time to reach your destination if you are traveling tonight and
Saturday morning.

Wind chills between 5 and -10 are possible as well overnight.
