BROOKVILLE — Class 3A No. 8 Jennings County is headed back to the girls basketball regional after upsetting 3A No. 3 Greensburg 65-47 Saturday night in the Franklin County Sectional final.
The Panthers (18-6) ran out to a 38-12 halftime lead and cruised from there.
Etta Young led Jennings with 22 points. Mollie Ernstes scored 16, and Riley Byford added 14.
The Panthers will play 3A No. 2 Silver Creek (19-5) in the regional at 4 p.m. Feb. 14 at Charlestown.
