COLUMBIA, Ky. — IU Columbus was within 5-3 after 2 1/2 innings Saturday, but Lindsey Wilson pulled away for a 12-3 baseball victory.
Quentcy Perry went 2 for 4 with two RBIs, Trey VanMeter went 2 for 4 with a double and Cyrus Robinson went 2 for to lead a nine-hit attack for the Crimson Pride (1-4). Riley Mertl, the first of seven IUC pitchers, took the loss.
The two teams will battle again at 10 a.m. Sunday.
