Two more Columbus North seniors have announced decisions on where they will be playing college football next year.
Quarterback Asher Ratliff is headed to Hanover. For Ratliff, the choice came down to offers from Hanover and Franklin.

Wide receiver and kicker Charlie Parsons has committed to Indiana Wesleyan. Last week, another Bull Dog senior, defensive back Macario Mendez, participated in a signing ceremony to play at IWU.
East’s Burton headed to Mount St. Joseph
Columbus East senior offensive lineman Gabe Burton has committed to play football at Mount St. Joseph.

Burton will join East graduate Zach Foster and Columbus North grad Eli Smith, who currently are freshmen playing at Mount St. Joseph.
Girls wrestlers named Academic All-State
Five Columbus East and two Jennings County girls wrestlers have been named Academic All-State by the Indiana Girls Wrestling Coaches Association.
East’s Abby Morales, Izzy Wakefield, Kyleigh Traylor and Kaydence Spradlin are on the first team, and Tienica Dits made the second team. Jennings County’s Gabby Hernandez and Sofia Lazcano are first-team selections.
North, JC, Trinity learn regional destinations
Columbus North and two other area girls basketball sectional champions found out late Saturday night where they will be playing in Saturday’s regional round.
North will face Evansville Reitz at 1 p.m. Saturday at Bedford North Lawrence in Class 4A. Class 3A No. 8 Jennings County will take on 3A No. 2 Silver Creek at 4 p.m. at Charlestown. Class A No. 7 Trinity Lutheran will play Tindley at 7 p.m. at Shelbyville.
Winners of those regional games will advance to the semistate round Feb. 21. The semistate draw will take place Feb. 15.
