The IU Columbus basketball teams dropped River States Conference games to IU Southeast Tuesday, with the men falling 88-54 at home and the women coming away with a 124-60 loss on the road.
Trevin Lieck led the Crimson Pride men (2-23, 0-13) with 12 points. Damontae Thompson had nine points, four assists and five steals and Airrion Boyd added seven points and 10 rebounds.
Amaya Collins led the IUC women (5-20, 3-10) with 24 points and two steals. Abby Fleetwood had 12 points and two steals, Columbus North graduate Hadassah Hurt scored 11 points and North grad Emma Beaver added six points and eight rebounds.
The Crimson Pride women and men will play Saturday at Midway (Kentucky). The women visit IU Kokomo Feb. 17, while the men play their final home game of the season against IU Kokomo at 6 p.m. that evening.
