DANBURY, Conn. — The Indiana Sentinels overcame a 2-0 deficit to pull out a 3-2 shootout win Friday at Danbury.
The Sentinels used a pair of second-period goals to tie the game. Bohdan Zinchenko scored off assists from Jakub Volf and Vladislav Pavlov, and Ethan Esposito scored off assists from Jhuwon Davis and Blake Peavey.
After both teams were stopped on their first two shootout attempts, Peavey converted for the Sentinels. Goalie Chris Curr then stopped the Danbury’s Eli Rivers to secure the win.
Indiana outshot the Hat Tricks 42-34. Curr finished with 32 saves.
The Sentinels play again Saturday in Danbury before returning home to host the Hat Tricks Feb. 20 and 21 to begin a five-game homestand.
